[What could possibly go wrong?] Hotel stores perishable food in guest room, with AC on high
September 30th, 2008 by Dave StudinskiPennsylvania health inspectors uncover why your room is so damn cold. They’re storing food in it! WHTM-TV reports:
“In this case, there was a correct complaint,” said [Bill Chirdon, director of food safety for the State Agriculture Department.] “There was validity to it, and when the inspector opened up room 102, there was a significant amount of food in there from the night before – and a couple of days before – stored in the hotel room with the air conditioning on high.”
Hotel? Motel? It was a Holiday Inn in Lancaster, Pa.
