[Trainwreck] Say it ain’t fucking so, Joe Scarborough!
November 11th, 2008 by Will O'HarganTo keep things light after that Olbermann post, I’ve decided to add another video that is as non-serious and yet still amazing as Olbermann’s speech was. Both anchors appear on MSNBC, and yet one, while angry, maintains his cool and manages to give an impassioned speech. The other, talking about politics as usual and a way that adults often talk to people they don’t like, makes an ass out of himself.
To set this clip up, let’s remember that Joe Scarborough, who is featured in this clip, is, as Salon puts it, a massive hypocrite. Let’s also ignore that it was one of Dick Cheney’s favorite words. Say what you will about Cheney, he knows how to get things done. Let’s just enjoy it for what it is: live television at it’s finest.
Yes, that is Joe “Make a big deal about Nipple-Gate” Scarborough dropping the f-bomb. More awful is the way that he shrugs it off as if it was no big deal, while if anyone else had done just that, it would have been a segment on his show.
